Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove:
- rear wheels,
- rear wheel brake drums
- rear suspension assembly.
Before removing the rear silent block, mark the position of the silent block in the rear suspension arm hole:
- make marks (M1) And (M2) on the rear suspension arm and silent block,
- copy marks (M1) from the old silent block to the new one.
Set the drift (A) fixtures.
Remove the silent block from the rear suspension by hitting the puller with a hammer (A) fixtures.
Installation
Parts subject to mandatory replacement: rear suspension beam bearing.
Install the silent block into the hole in the rear suspension arm bushing, matching the marks (M1) And (M2).
To remove the silent blocks of the rear suspension, use:
- threaded rod (IN),
- cap (WITH),
- cap (D),
- anti-friction washer (E),
- nut (F) fixtures.
Install the installation tool.
tighten the nut (F) fixtures until the surface (T) the silent block will not be flush with the hole in the rear suspension arm.
Make sure the marks match (M1) And (M2).
Remove the fixture.
Install:
- rear suspension beam assembly,
- rear brake drums.
Adjust rear wheel alignment.
Install the rear wheels.
Remove air from the brake system.
