Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove:
- air intake pipe,
- battery,
- battery tray,
- injection computer,
- protective screen.
Install Engine Support Tool (Mot. 1453) with a tether strap and use the lifting eye on the flywheel side as an attachment point.
Mark on the body the position of the left pendulum support.
Loosen the nut (1) fastening the silent block on the gearbox suspension support.
Knock out the gearbox mounting stud with a bronze drift to separate the engine and gearbox assembly from the body.
Remove:
- nuts (2) silent block fasteners,
- silent block,
- bolts (3) fixing the left silent block on the body,
- left pillow support
- power steering pipe bolt (if the car is equipped with it) to the pendulum suspension support,
- fastening bolts (4) left pendulum suspension support on the gearbox,
- the left support of the pendulum suspension of the gearbox.
Installation
Be sure to replace the self-locking nuts.
Install:
- the left support of the pendulum suspension of the gearbox,
- power steering pipe bolt (if available) to the pendulum suspension support,
- left pillow support
- silent block,
- nuts of the silent block of the left support of the pendulum suspension,
- the nut of the gearbox bracket on the silent block.
Torque tighten:
- bolts of fastening of a support of the left pendular suspension bracket on a transmission (62 Nm),
- bolt of fastening of the pipeline of the amplifier of a steering on the left support of a suspended suspension bracket (21 Nm),
- stud on gearbox support (180 Nm),
- bolts for mounting the silent block to the body (21 Nm),
- Nuts for fastening the silent block on the left support of the pendulum suspension (105 Nm),
- nut of fastening of a support of a transmission on a pillow (62 Nm).
Remove engine support (Mot. 1453).
Install:
- engine undertray protection,
- injection computer,
- battery tray,
- battery,
- air intake pipe.
