Removing
Remove:
- intake silencer,
- oil separator bolts
- oil separator,
- air filter housing,
- throttle block,
- intake manifold,
- ignition coils.
Installation
Parts that must be replaced: oil separator bolt.
Attention!
- Do not scrape the mating surfaces of the aluminum parts, as any damage caused by the felling may result in fuel leaks.
- When cleaning parts, make sure that the parts do not hit each other, this may damage the mating surfaces, misalignment of the parts, and, as a result, disrupt the engine.
Use a super effective mating surface cleaner to clean:
- mating surface of the oil separator (in case of reuse),
- mating surface of the cylinder head cover.
Use a surface cleaner to degrease:
- mating surface of the oil separator (in case of reuse),
- mating surface of the cylinder head cover.
Attention!
- To ensure sealing, mating surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil (don't touch them with your fingers).
- Applying too much sealant can cause the sealant to be squeezed out when parts are tightened. The ingress of sealant into the coolant can damage some components and assemblies (engine, radiator, etc.).
Apply plastic adhesive to the mating surface of the oil separator with a paint roller so that the surface is completely covered with adhesive.
Install the oil separator.
Torque tighten the new oil separator bolts in the order shown (15 Nm).
Install:
- ignition coils,
- intake manifold,
- throttle block,
- air filter housing,
- intake silencer.
