Removing the generator

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Disconnect the multi-pin connector.

3. Engine type «WITH»: loosen the tension bolt and the mounting bracket bolt.

4. Loosen the pivot screw.

5. Tilt the generator and remove the V-belt.

6. Remove the idler bolt and pivot bearing bolt.

7. Take out the generator upwards from a motor compartment.

8. Engine type «F» (standard design): loosen the tensioner. To do this, loosen the fixing bolt.

9. Loosen the tension bolt and pivot bolt.

10. Tilt the generator and remove the V-belt.

11. Remove the alternator mounting bolts.

12. Remove the generator from the engine compartment.

13. 16 valve engine: remove the right headlight.

14. Remove the power steering reservoir.

15. Remove the rear rack of the generator (one bolt).

16. Release the tensioner and remove the V-ribbed belt.

17. Remove the generator mount (3 bolts).

18. Unscrew the bottom nut of fastening of the generator.

19. Remove the lower spacer bolt.

20. Take out the generator through an aperture of a headlight.
