Fuel Injector Malfunctions

If one injector is faulty, then it can be determined with the engine running as follows: unscrew the union nuts of the high pressure fuel lines on the injectors in turn and tighten again. If, despite the removed pipeline, the speed remains unchanged, then this is a faulty nozzle. The failure of the injector can be determined by signs:

• Faulty glow plugs;
• Black smoke from the exhaust system;
• High fuel consumption;
• Engine overheating;
• Strong knock;
• Loss of engine power.
