When installing the clutch release bearing (3) on the gear shaft (2) make sure the square (4) has been correctly installed in the clutch release fork (1). Do not move the clutch release fork along the gearbox shaft after this, as it may come off.
1. On engines with a side-mounted air filter housing, remove it.
2. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch release fork. To do this, push the cable between the lever and the support with your finger.
3. If you are using pliers, then grab about 15 mm from the end of the cable so as not to damage its plastic sheath.
4. Unhook the clutch cable from the pedal. To do this, press the clutch pedal with your foot to pull the cable out of the sheath.
5. Unhook the cable from the toothed segment and remove its sheath from the cable mount (ring).
6. Disconnect the cable from the attachment in the floor of the machine and remove it from the side of the engine compartment.
7. Installation - in reverse order.
8. Beforehand, it is necessary to check whether the parts of the clutch clearance adjustment mechanism move freely.
9. When installing the clutch cable, pay special attention to its correct position in the front wall.
Check of serviceability of the mechanism of adjustment of a backlash of coupling
1. Press the clutch pedal several times with your foot.
2. With the pedal released, push back the cable sheath at the gearbox clutch release fork. When properly adjusted and in good condition, the shell should move back about 2 cm.
3. If this is not the case, check if the parts of the clutch clearance adjustment mechanism move freely.
4. If you press the clutch pedal, you can immediately check the working stroke of the clutch release fork. It should be 17-18 mm with a good grip.
