Checking tire pressure
Check the tire pressure once a month or before each long trip. Too low tire pressure leads to increased fuel consumption. Maintaining the recommended tire pressure is especially important when driving at high speeds.
Check the pressure on cold tires. If you need to inflate warm tires, increase the pressure by 0.3 bar.
Note. Be sure to check the pressure in the spare tire.
Checking tire wear
The grooves of the tire tread pattern contain «tire wear indicators» 1.6 mm high, located at right angles to the direction of forward movement of the tire. These indicators range from six to eight (depending on the manufacturer) placed at equal distances around the circumference of the tire. Markers on the tire sidewall (for example letters «TWI» ip pictogram in the form of a triangle) show the location of tire wear indicators.
Tires can be used up to a profile depth of 1.6 mm. that is, the profile grooves must have a depth over the entire surface of the tire of at least 1.6 mm
