Separate replacement of the filter element is not possible, so the filter is replaced as an assembly.
Removal
Attention. Take precautions due to the presence of diesel fuel under residual pressure in the fuel lines.
Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter:
- fuel supply to the engine (1, fig. 4.51);
- supplying fuel from the fuel tank (2);
- return fuel to tank (3) through the tap;
- fuel return from the engine (4);
- return fuel to the tank through a heat exchanger (5).

Remove the fuel filter.
Installation
Strictly follow the order of connecting the fuel lines to the filter, and do not allow the fuel hoses to be pinched or damaged. There is a tap located on the fuel filter at the connection point of the diesel fuel return line (R. rice 4 52). Its normal operating position is open.

To refill the fuel system after disassembling it, replacing the fuel filter, or in the event of a fuel supply failure (when it is fully developed) you should do the following:
- close the tap (R);
- operate the low pressure pump several times with the ignition on;
- start the engine;
- open the tap, and in the open position of the tap the two colored marks are aligned.
It is necessary to periodically drain the water from the fuel filter by unscrewing the drain plug (6).
