- To drain the coolant from both sides of the cylinder block, remove the screw plugs.
- Disconnect the hose from the lower radiator reservoir and drain the coolant.
Filling with coolant
- Screw the drain plugs with new gaskets into the cylinder block.
- Reconnect the radiator hose and secure with a clamp.
- Unscrew the three screws to remove air from the cooling system.
- Fill the expansion tank with coolant until coolant comes out of the bleeder screws without air bubbles.
- Screw in the bleeder screws and close the expansion tank cap.
- Make sure the coolant level is at the mid-height of the expansion tank.
- Start the engine and warm it up for 15 minutes at fast idle until the radiator fan comes on.
- Check the coolant level, which should be at the level of the mark «Maxi».
