Removal
- Remove the gearbox.
- Tilt the fork and remove the clutch release bearing.
- Remove the rubber protective boot and push the fork inside the clutch housing.
Installation
- Apply MOLYKOTE BR2 to the walls of the guide bushing and fork legs.
- Insert the plug and install the rubber protective boot.
- Install the clutch release bearing onto the guide sleeve, positioning the protrusion (A, fig. 5.9) bearing into the fork groove. Check that the unit is moving correctly.

Notes.
- When performing operations that do not require removing the transmission, or after replacing the transmission, do not lift the clutch release fork, as this may cause it to disengage from the protrusion (A) bearing rings release bearing.
- The JC transmission has a grease-filled boot to support the clutch release fork. Before installing the fork, put MOLYKOTE BR2 lubricant in the case (pic. 5.10).
