Disconnect the battery. Remove the lower trim of the dashboard (1).
Vehicle ECU:
1 - block of protection and switching;
2 - TsEKBS;
3 - fuse box and relay in the cabin;
4 - ECU airbags;
5 - ABS valve body;
6 - instrument cluster;
7 - ECU of the petrol engine injection system;
8 - ECU automatic transmission;
9 - ECU front lighting devices;
10 - control unit for automatic parking brake;
11 - ECU of the parking control system;
12 - climate control panel;
13 - audio system with navigation unit;
14 — display of the navigation system;
15 - multimedia network interface block;
16 - ECU of the navigation system;
17 - tuner-amplifier;
18 - radio receiver;
19 - display;
20 - ECU of the remote connector of the multimedia network.
Attention. To prevent total steering column lock, never install a UCH on a vehicle that has been previously used on another vehicle.
Loosen the fixing screw (3) CECBS.
Take the UCH aside (4).
Note the cable routing.
Disconnect the UCH connectors. Remove the UCH.
Attach:
- 3 Dashboard Wiring Harness Connectors (5) to the CECBS;
- 3 connectors (6) windshield strut wiring harness to UCH;
- engine compartment wiring harness connector (7) to the CECBS.
Install the UCH.
Install the wiring harnesses in the positions marked during removal.
Position the tabs (8) opposite the respective places (8).
Set the UCH by pressing the dot (9).
Fasten the UCH to the support using the bolt (10).
