Tightening torques, Nm
- Drive shaft nut 280.
- Wheel bolts 90.
- Nut for fastening the lower support of the telescopic rack 180.
- Floating bracket bolt 100.
- Nut of fastening of the steering hinge 37.
- Nut of the coupling bolt of the terminal connection of the ball joint pin with the steering knuckle 55.
Removing
1. Disconnect the wires from the battery.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the brake caliper and attach it to the spring so as not to damage the brake tube.
4. Remove the steering joint using T.Av 476 puller.
5. Turn away a nut of a power shaft.
6. Push the drive shaft inside the hub using T.Av 1050-02 puller.
7. Remove the brake disc.
8. Turn away a nut and a coupling bolt of a terminal connection of a finger of a spherical support.
9. Turn away two bolts of fastening of the lower support of a telescopic rack.
10. Remove a rotary fist in gathering with a nave and the bearing.
11. Remove the hub using a press.
12. Remove the lower thrust ring from the hub using a puller with grips and a protective tip Rou. 15-01.
13. Remove a lock ring from a rotary fist.
14. Using a press, remove the remaining part of the bearing so that the load falls on the inner ring. Use a piece of pipe of the same diameter for this.
Installation
1. Install the bearing with a press into the hub using a piece of pipe with an outer diameter of 70 mm and an inner diameter of 66 mm, applying a load to the outer race of the bearing.
Attention! Do not apply a load to the inner ring to prevent damage to the bearing, as the force required to press the bearing in is very high.
2. Install a new retaining ring.
3. Lubricate both sealing lips of the bearing with multipurpose grease.
4. Install the bearing with a press into the hub using a piece of pipe with an outer diameter of 48 mm and an inner diameter of 42 mm and apply a load to the bearing inner race.
5. Install the steering knuckle assembly with hub and bearing on the vehicle.
