- Mot. 1054 TDC lock.
- Mot. 1202 Pliers for flexible clamps.
- Mot. 1273 Belt tension gauge.
- Mot. 1289-03 Fork for centering the travel stop of the pendulum support.
- Mot. 1379 Pads for fixing the engine on the subframe.
Tightening torques, Nm
- Crankshaft pulley bolts 20 + 90°.
- Bolts of fastening to the engine of the front right support of the pendulum suspension 62.
- Bolts of fastening to the body of the front right support of the pendulum suspension 62.
- Nut for fastening the axis of the tension roller of the timing belt 50.
- Water pump mounting bolts 9.
Removing
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Remove the timing belt.
4. Remove the power steering pump drive pulley (if it is installed).
5. Turn away a bolt of the top fastening of the generator and turn away the lower bolt.
6. Turn away bolts of fastening on the block of cylinders of the pipeline of the amplifier of a steering.
7. Turn away bolts of fastening on an arm of the pump of the amplifier of a steering (move aside the pump together with the pipeline of the power steering).
8. Power steering pump bracket.
9. Remove the water pump hose.
10. Remove the tension roller and water pump.
Cleaning
Attention! It is not allowed to clean the mating surfaces of aluminum parts with a tool with a sharp edge. Use Decapjoint to dissolve adhering gasket residue. Apply the compound to the surface to be cleaned. Wait for about ten minutes, then remove any adhesive residue with a wooden spatula. This operation is recommended to be performed with gloves.
Installation
1. RHODORSEAL 5661 is used to seal the water pump; apply a coat of sealant J (pic. 2.83).
2. Apply a coat of LOCTITE 518 to the mating surface L between the inlet fitting and the water pump housing.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
4. Install the timing belt.
5. Do not forget to remove the TDC retainer.
