Attention! Removed subframe mounting bolts are not reused and must be replaced. Strictly observe the tightening torque of the new bolts.
Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- protection of the engine tray;
- lower bumper mounting bolts;
- wheels.
Lock the steering wheel with the special tool.
Remove:
- front mudguards;
- two left and right ties;
- bolts of brackets for fastening the brake system of the pipeline and the ABS sensor.
Remove the xenon headlight corrector body height sensor rod at point A, if any, two aluminum side members.
Unscrew the nuts securing the pins of the ball joints of the anti-roll bar struts.
Lower the two subframe linkage bolts to the body at points B.
Remove:
- bolt of terminal connections of the fork of the universal joint of the steering shaft;
- jet thrust mounting bolts;
- noise reduction rod mounting bolts and subframe rear mounting bolts.
Place a hydraulic jack under the subframe.
Disconnect the brake lines and ABS sensor wires from the subframe and linkages.
Remove:
- two bolts of the subframe mounting rod on the body and lower the subframe by 20 cm;
- four bolts securing the anti-roll bar brackets.
Installation
Replace the subframe bolts and torque them in order. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Attention! When installing the fork terminal bolt, the steering column must be adjusted (see Steering).
Note. If xenon lamps are installed on the vehicle, they must be initialized.
