General information
The speed controller allows you to maintain the speed selected by the driver. This function can be deactivated 8 at any time by pressing the brake pedal, clutch pedal or one of the system buttons.
The speed limiter allows the driver to set a speed limit. When this speed is exceeded, if the driver depresses the accelerator pedal. the speed will no longer increase. The selected speed can be increased at any time by depressing the accelerator pedal over the point of resistance.
A warning light on the instrument panel informs the driver about the state of the governor/speed limiter.
Lights up green: controller is on.
Lights up amber: The limiter is enabled.
Warning light flashes: set speed cannot be maintained (e.g. when descending).
To control these functions, the injection computer receives information through the contacts:
- AF2: enable/disable the speed limiter.
- AD2: enable/disable the speed controller.
- AB2: signal from the steering wheel control.
- AA2: «weight» steering wheel controls.
- AF3: brake light switch input when contacts open.
- AE2: clutch pedal switch input (depending on configuration).
- AE1: power supply for the conductive track 1 of the pedal position sensor.
- AH2: power supply for the conductive track 2 of the pedal position sensor.
- AVZ: «weight» conductive path 1 of the pedal position sensor.
- AAZ: «weight» conductive track 2 of the pedal position sensor.
- AC1: Path 1 signal of the pedal position sensor.
- AF1; signal of the conductive track 2 of the sensor of position of a pedal of management of giving of fuel.
- AA4: L1 multiplex connection (with the CECBS).
- AB4: multiplex communication H1 (with the CECBS).
The injection computer receives the following information via the multiplex network:
- about vehicle speed (from ABS);
- about closing the contacts of the brake light switch (ABS);
- about the included transmission.
The injection computer sends over the multiplex network:
- instructions on the supported or maximum speed on the instrument panel;
- command to enable signal dump (yellow, green or flashing light);
- gear shift information (depending on configuration).
The injection computer receives:
- information from the fuel pedal position sensor;
- information from the brake light switch;
- information from the clutch pedal switch;
- information from the on/off switch;
- information from the controls on the steering wheel;
- information from the ABS computer;
- information from the automatic transmission computer.
Based on this information, the injection ECU controls the solenoid injectors to maintain the set speed during speed control and not to exceed the set speed during speed limiting.
