Before removing the clutch disc, check
- Correct installation of the clutch disc.
Before installing the clutch, check
- Flywheel surface for clutch disc (no scratches or fading marks).
- crankshaft main bearing (does not jam).
- Tightness of oil seals of the engine and gearbox (replace if necessary).
- Free movement of the clutch disc on the input shaft.
- Guide sleeve and clutch release fork (no wear and scratches).
Attention: To avoid vibrations and slippage of the clutch, do not lubricate the output shaft and clutch disc hub.
During installation, check the following
- Correct installation of the clutch disc.
- Center the clutch disc using the tool (Emb. 1780).
- Tighten the clutch cover bolts evenly to the specified torque.
Check after installation
- Clutch pedal free play (for vehicles with cable drive).
- Bleeding the hydraulic system (for vehicles with hydraulic clutch).
